Riga 2015 – Live streaming solo, quartet and saxophone ensemble

This week I have been working together with students from concervatories in Finland, Norway, Latvia and Denmark. We have been working with and getting lessons from the great and international known musicians and teachers Lars Mlekusch, Claus Olesen, Rolf-Erik Nystrøm and Arvydas Kazlauskas. It has been incredibly inspiring and a week full of learning and fun.

Today at 16pm Latvian-time (15pm for Scandinavia) we will play a concert all together in Riga. It will be live streamed over Youtube – which means that YOU can watch it home in your own livingroom, or wherever else you are with internet! You can watch it here (link under this text). I will perform Duduk I by G. Erkoreka (a piece inspired by the Armenian oboe and performed on soprano saxophone) – so it will be very exiting, tune in!! In addition to this the quartet from Aarhus will perform, and the saxophone orchestra (from this week) will perform Glazunov’s big concerto for solo saxophone (this will only be a version including a little surprise/twist).

Hope you will take a little time from your Saturday and listen to what we have been working on. Enjoy!
