Contemporary music at RAMA-festival

April have started out with a BANG! At The Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus, we had a big festival called RAMA-festival this weekend, (2nd of April). There were ongoing concerts from 01.00pm to 01.00am. My concert was set at 11.30pm, the latest concert I have ever played as a classical musician!

It was an amazing experience, together with my colleagues, Thomas Hvid (Guitar), Jacob Buur and Diana Annie Bojanic we created a concert filled with contemporary music in The Academy’s biggest and greatest hall – Symphonic Hall. It was quite an experience I must say, specially since it was so late in the evening and the hall has such big sound. RAMA contemporary

Our program was made by composers from Norway, Denmark, Spain and Italy. My dear friend, Klavs Kehlet composed a beautiful little piece for violin and alto saxophone. Jacob and I premiered the piece at the concert, and I think it was very well received.

All in all it has been a good experience with great people. Hope your weekend was as good as mine!

For the near future I have some upcoming great news, pay attention – you don’t want to miss it, soon!
